Solicitation: 140R4023Q0008 Questions and Answers

1. There are modules listed to upgrade BCM-2, FGD-2, DXCB-2, and AIOM-2. There is no mention of the digital I/O module (DIO-2). There are four of these per unit. There is also not mention of the field transducer modules IT-2. There are two of those per unit. While these modules are NOT required they would be suggested if you are updating the rest. Should they just be listed as options? Yes lest list this as options. We also need to know how this will effect install and delivery time.

2. Can all three units be in outage at the same time? We would only do one unit at a time. Then do commissioning and verification of operation on that unit before moving on to the next one.

3. Just to let you know, if quotes are submitted by June 9 and BOR typically takes 30 days to review, and then it will typically take a couple of weeks for paperwork to filter thru our turnkey partner to get the PO to Basler for the equipment. Once Basler gets the PO for the equipment, the delivery lead time is 14-16 weeks. All of this will add up to equipment delivery early to mid November. This should still leave ample time for the install and commissioning. The deadline for all 3 units install, commissioning and verification of operation will be Feb. 29th. As long as they can meet this then we are good with this time frame.
