About this file
This is a Statement of Work for RFQ No. 140R3026Q0054 issued by the Bureau of Reclamation for the purchase of two replacement HydroFlo vertical turbine sump pump assemblies for Hoover Dam. The contractor must supply 2 interchangeable pump assemblies that are compatible with the currently installed systems to facilitate maintenance and reduce the need for expanded spare parts inventory. The pumps must be 16HH single stage vertical turbine assemblies with specific technical specifications including 1.5" head shaft assembly (416 stainless steel), coated steel motor stand with 16" 150# flat face discharge flange, approximately 630" of 16" oil lube/water flush column assembly, 16HH oil lube/water flush bowl assembly, 304 stainless steel basket strainer, Tnemec N140 coating (6-8 mils dry film thickness), 316 stainless steel impeller and collet, and a 2300V, 3-phase, 60 Hz, 150 HP motor rated for 5000 GPM flow, 60 ft head, and 18.6 ft maximum NPSHr.
The contractor must submit five documents for review/approval with a 14-calendar-day review period per submittal, including general pump arrangement drawing, pump datasheet with performance curves, motor nameplate datasheet, motor dimensions drawing, and coatings material datasheet. Reference documents must include equipment operation and maintenance manuals with instruction leaflets for all components, overhaul/refresh parts and materials lists for motor and pump, motor wiring diagram, and equipment lubrication recommendations. Delivery must occur within 9 months of contract award to Hoover Dam Central Warehouse in Boulder City, Nevada, on an FOB Destination basis. The contractor must comply with manufacturer's instructions for rigging, transporting, and storing units, protect equipment from physical damage, and coordinate delivery with the Contracting Officer Representative. • Underground style discharge
• 16HH oil lube/water flush bowl assembly with bell suction and flanged to discharge column
• External oil lube line for bowl assembly feed oil
• 304 stainless steel bolt on basket strainer
• All steel components coated with Tnemec N140, dry film thickness 6-8 mils
• 16HH impeller, impeller and collet made from 316 stainless steel
• 2300 V, 3 phase, 60 Hz, 150 HP, 1800 RPM 4 pole, continuous duty motor with
Wye-Delta start function and 447TPA frame size
Pump rated performance as follows:
• Flow: 5000 GPM (US)
• Head: 60 ft
• NPSHr: 18.6 ft max
