About this file

This is an Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract (Standard Form 30) issued by the Bureau of Reclamation, Mid-Pacific Region for solicitation number 140R2026R0007 regarding Stampede Power Plant Switchgear Replacement. The amendment is effective May 28, 2026, and is amendment number 0002 to the original solicitation.

The primary purpose of this amendment is to provide answers to contractor inquiries and revise the contract completion timeline. The contract period of performance has been extended from 150 calendar days to 270 calendar days after issuance of the notice to proceed to accommodate electrical equipment procurement lead times. Key questions and answers addressed include clarification that the existing equipment is Brown Boveri Electric, Inc. manufactured in 1984, and confirmation that no government-endorsed suppliers have been contacted regarding breaker and panel procurement. The amendment confirms that all references to 150 days in the original solicitation are replaced with 270 days regarding contract completion. The organized site visit is scheduled for June 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. PST at Stampede Powerplant, 501 Stampede Dam Road, Truckee, California 96161, with registration required five days prior and a question submission deadline of five days after the site visit at 1700 PST. The proposal due date and time remain unchanged from the original solicitation. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain in full force and effect.
