About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers file for a federal contract opportunity for Calibration Services. The Q&A addresses three key points: (1) vendors can perform multiple services in one day if equipment is available, with service duration dependent on the vendor, (2) work is confirmed to be performed annually at a government facility starting in August, and (3) emergency repairs are not to be included in the quote - vendors should only report equipment failures and calibration issues, with recommendations for repair or replacement if necessary. The document is part of Solicitation Number 140R2025Q0050 for the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation, specifically covering calibration services for tools and equipment at Folsom Dam and New Melones Dam.

Questions and Answers
1. Can we perform multiple services all in one day, or in sets, leaving some for operations?
a. Yes, if all equipment is available, you can perform services that day. How long it takes is based upon the vendor.
2. Can you confirm if work can be done at govt. facility annually in August?
a. Yes, that is the expected start date of the period of performance.
3. Can we include emergency repairs and parts not requested in the quote? After close review of the PWS, this raises a concern.
a. No, as far as repairs, if it is broken, we just want to know what is wrong (why it failed calibration) and if we need to send it out for repair or replacement the equipment.
