RE: 140R2022Q0110, Amendment 1, Questions & Answers Attachment
Q: Is there an elevator to get supplies from ground level to the oil tank room?
A: No, there are stairs or there is a crane support for heavier items per the statement of work.
Q: The table on page 6, #1 includes removing 200 gallons of oil that are in the dirty oil storage tank and the 2873 per unit. Can these be done at the same time using the same truck?
A: Yes. But the limit to the dirty oil tank is 3000 gallons, so some oil will have to be removed from the tank and loaded onto the oil truck before the unit is completely emptied or else it will overfill the dirty oil tank.
Q: Are there PCBs in the oil?
A: The attached oil sample report was taken on 08/11-2022. Samples taken from Unit 1 and Unit 2 Guide Bearings. Sample results show Aroclor 1254 at levels between .710 -
.734 mg/Kg or ppm. So the level of PCBs are less than 1 ppm but they are present.
