About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines vault toilet pumping services for the US Bureau of Reclamation's Hungry Horse Field Office in Montana. The contract requires servicing four 1,000-gallon vault toilets located at the Visitor Center, with service frequencies varying by season: bi-weekly from May through October (two buildings) and monthly from November through April (one building). The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials to legally pump, transport, and dispose of raw sewage and incidental garbage, with up to 10 on-call services permitted throughout the contract period.

The contract is a firm-fixed price purchase order with one base year and four one-year option periods, to be exercised at the Bureau of Reclamation's discretion. Key contractor requirements include maintaining a current valid license for sewage disposal, performing complete pumping and cleanup without spillage, and providing proof of legal sewage disposal upon demand. Performance will be monitored through random inspections and customer complaints, with the Contracting Officer verifying that all sewage is removed, toilets are left sanitary, and disposal meets federal, state, and local regulations.
