Text version

In accordance with President Biden’s Executive Order on Protecting the Federal Workforce and Requiring Mask-Wearing signed on January 20, 2021, all contractors and financial assistance agreement holders conducting work in DOI buildings and on DOI-managed lands must wear a mask when social distancing cannot be maintained. The mask shall be consistent with the U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) guidance on COVID-19 masks. To the maximum extent practicable, individuals shall maintain a distance of at least six feet from others at all times whether indoors or outdoors, consistent with CDC guidelines.

Specifically, Reclamation is requiring contractor and financial assistance agreement holders to be in compliance with CDC guidelines with respect to wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and other public health measures as defined by the CDC.

As a reminder, All DOI contractors and financial assistance holders with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases should not be present in the Federal workplace (DOI-buildings and DOI-managed lands).
