About this file
This document is an amendment to a solicitation for trash and recycling hauling services at Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. The National Park Service seeks a contractor to haul approximately 228 tons of general refuse from both parks between the periods of June 2023 through May 2024. Pricing will be charged on a per ton basis and billed monthly after each service. The selected offeror must use a material recovery facility, preferably a green technology option, for disposal of the general refuse. The amendment provides answers to vendor questions to clarify that day labor and NPS trucks will not be used, the estimated tonnage is 228 tons total, and that a green MRF is desired but not required. Nicholas Heath and Patty Payne are points of contact for any additional questions.
