Are there any better maps, to get an idea of say how many gates (Wire or Tube hinged), H braces, water crossings etc? I can send an example of what I mean if needed.

Unfortunately, we do not have any better maps for this. There is one Tubed gate to be replaced and one water crossing on Sycamore creek. "H" braces should be replaced in locations where they currently exist. (See Paragraph 2. In SOW)

Which side of the posts (inside towards the interior of the pasture or outside of the post) does the agency want the wire stapled to?

Wire should be stapled on the interior pasture side of the wood posts. Wire should be clipped to the interior pasture side of the metal posts. (See Paragraph 3. In SOW)

What is the (if any) required workmanship warranty?

If there is a mandatory warranty, what criteria will be used to distinguish faulty workmanship vs the current design resulting in excess required maintenance issues?

Please Refer to clause 52.246-21, it is incorporated by reference and can be found https://www.acquisition.gov/far/52.246-21?searchTerms=warranty

Is there a wood-to-steel post-preferred ratio? I saw we can't use steel posts for more than 40 ft in a row so I assume with standard 16.5 spacing the ratio would be (2.42) 3 steel to one wood post?

There shall be 1 wood post to every 3 steel posts. (See Paragraph 4. In SOW)

How far would the material need to be hand-packed in the area the SOW mentioned that in, I'm trying to figure out if I should bring my own pack mules to tram materials.

Most of the fence line is accessible by UHV "side by side" or "quad" directly or within approximately a tenth to a quarter of a mile of mechanized access. Contractors pack animals can be used.

Are any of the materials in the removal portion to be salvaged for other use for the agency?

All existing fence material is to be removed from the park by contractor. The park has no salvage need for this material. (See Paragraph 7. In SOW)

Are we allowed to camp on-site or in relative proximity?

There is no camping allowed on site. There is camping allowed at Potwisha campground, approximately 4 miles from project site, it is reservation only through Recreation.Gov, there may be other camping available outside the park on Recreation.gov also. The town of Three Rivers is nearby and should have Hotel and Air B&B accommodations available. (See Performance Period Paragraph In SOW)

The SOW doesn't state any details regarding braces for fence corners and slopes. Are there any minimum requirements for the number, frequency, or type of braces expected for this fence project?

We do want 4x4 angle bracing on all corner posts.

Do you have an estimation for the number of t-posts vs. wood posts that are needed? Or a count of each for the type of posts on the existing fence (with an idea if the replacement should have more or less of either)?

(The following amounts are a close estimate, amounts may vary slightly due to unforeseen terrain and natural barriers.)

Estimated Wood Posts Needed (includes Corner Sections)- 213 ea.

Estimated Metal posts Needed- 533 ea.

Barbed Wire- 14,200 ft.

Smooth Wire- 21,300 ft.

Can you please provide coordinates and road identification for the project referenced above?

Road Name- Sycamore Drive

Coordinates of the Ash Mountain Corrals: -118.841 36.488 degrees
