About this file
This document is Amendment 0001 to RFQ 140P8426Q0062 for generator supply and installation at Lassen Volcanic National Park's Manzanita Lake Maintenance Building. The solicitation requires contractors to supply and install a new generator to replace an existing unit that has reached its service life. The new generator will power the Maintenance Shop and Fuel Station and will be installed at 39489 Hwy 44, Shingletown, California, 96088. The current functional generator is NPS property and must be carefully removed and turned over to the NPS rather than exported by the contractor. The transfer switch is located on the left side of the fuel tanks under the same canopy cover. No concrete work is associated with the installation, and NPS personnel manually fill the fuel tank.
The quotation deadline is Tuesday, September 22, by 5:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time. The amendment includes a site visit sign-in sheet dated September 21, 2026, at 9:30 AM at Lassen Volcanic National Park Headquarters, with three participants from Elite Electrical, Amp, and Joe Branch Electrical listed. The amendment also provides eight questions and answers addressing project scope, site conditions, and equipment details, along with nine photographs of the existing fuel station infrastructure, generator equipment, transfer switch location, and related maintenance building areas to support bidders' understanding of the installation site.
