Attachment 06: Questions & Answers

Q1: Can one Supervisor administer all three hats? (Superintendent, Site Safety Health Officer, and Quality Control Manager?)

A1: Yes, provided all contract requirements are met

Q2: Will the project be phased? If so, how many phases? KTR recommends entire outdoor area in 1 phase and indoor area 2 phases. Will this phase plan be acceptable?

A2: Preference is for the project be phased, as this will allow for parts of the Visitors Center to remain open while work continues with minimal interruption to visitor services.

Q3: What will be hours for KTR to work? KTR suggests 4 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday from 0600-1400. Will this be acceptable?

A3: 10hr days Mon- Thurs pare permissible, however 0600-1400 is an 8hr day. The start time is suggested to be 0700-17:30 as the will be no NPS on site prior to this time.
