Pre-Proposal Site Visit for Solicitation #140P8324R0008

May 11, 2023

Ms./Mrs. Emily Campbell, Contracting Officer Representative, thanked the group for their interest in the project and for attending the site visit.

• Nothing said today changes the terms, conditions, requirements, or specifications of the solicitation and eventual contract. All changes will be formalized and incorporated by formal written amendment(s) to the RFP and posted at beta.SAM.gov.

• The solicitation (SF1442 with associated clauses and provisions) is the file named “sol_140P8324R0008” which is the bottom file attached at beta.SAM. Make sure you are viewing the posting that is of type “solicitation” rather than “updated presolicitation”. All amendments will be posted here; it is your responsibility to monitor the site. You can also register and use the “follow” feature.

• This acquisition is set aside for total small concerns. I encourage you to review pertinent sections of the solicitation and regulations.

• Send proposals and supporting documents, etc. to Mike’s email address (at the bottom of the announcement at beta.SAM and in Section G.4 of the solicitation). Due to system and bandwidth capacities, we recommend sending the proposal at least an hour prior to the time it is due.

• Remember to review the information in Sections L (Instructions to Offerors) and M (Evaluation) before submitting the proposal.

• Due date is May 6 at 10:00 pm PD unless extended by amendment.

The group then toured the building and surrounding areas with brief orienting and introductory remarks from COR Campbell. The following clarifications are provided.

1. Is the park removing dead trees from site and cutting the small alders:

A: Contractor can move downed trees, tree stumps as per need and remove only trees that are flagged/ and approved by park compliance team. Pictures Attached-ccd Beth as these should been in the APE PMIS 249788

2. What are the current challenges with that lift station as it is now?

A: Parts and components are not available for the antiquated equipment. It operates fine but when it fails we struggle to fix it. there is also challenges with the confined space.

3. Has the park Surveyed the influent and effluent lines?

A: Yes, there is a recent survey. NPS is looking to see if it included the influent line and effluent line, the influent manhole was located during visit and opened. Pictures attached
