Solicitation No. 140P8121Q0062 Amendment No. 02

LAKE Replace Revenue Meters & Backflow Preventers

Q1. The statement of work does not outline the extent of the backflow replacement. Are we replacing just the device or the connecting piping as well? This is important as different manufacturers devices have different lay lengths so without knowing whose device if being replaced it will be impossible to provide an accurate bid.

A1. Just replacing the device.

Q2. Regarding the meters, your list of meters references multiple manufacturers. Are we replacing like for like (i.e. replacing Sensus Meters with Sensus meters)? Or are alternate meter manufacturer’s that meet the spec in the attached scope of work allowed?

A2. Sensus or like. The SOW states that they must be compatible with touch read wands or similar.
