About this file
This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for federal solicitation 140P6426Q0066, Amendment 0001, concerning Water Tank Replacement at BRCA. The document addresses two clarifications submitted by potential offerors regarding the solicitation requirements.
Question 1 addresses the electrical specifications for the water heater installation. The solicitation initially referenced 208V power with allowance for single or three-phase configuration but did not provide existing heater specifications. The government clarified that existing units operate at 120 Volts, 60 Hz, drawing less than 5 Amps, with single-phase service only at all locations. Question 2 clarifies a discrepancy between page 3 and page 12 of the solicitation regarding water heater tank capacity—one reference specified 100-gallon propane and another specified 120-gallon electric. The government confirmed that the Statement of Work (SOW) has been updated to reflect a 120-Gallon minimum tank size as the correct specification for quotation purposes.
