About this file

This is an addendum to a Statement of Work for a campground water renovations project, specifying requirements for a glass-lined prefabricated tank installation. The period of performance is 240 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, including 15 weather days, with provisions for weather-related delays at no additional cost to the government. The campground will remain operational during construction, and installation sequencing requires NPS approval.

The technical specifications call for a 20,000-gallon glass-fused to steel bolted storage tank, measuring 15 ft high by 15 ft in diameter, with white interior and desert tan or earthen-colored exterior to blend with surroundings. Approved manufacturers include CST Industries Aquastore, United Industries Group (U.I.G.), American Structures Inc., and U.S.G. Alternative "or equal" options including welded steel, stainless steel, or fiberglass tanks will be considered if they meet NSF/ANSI 61 certification for potable drinking water, can utilize the proposed foundation design, and match the specified dimensions and exterior color requirements. The document includes two updates, dated January 8, 2025, and December 17, 2024, refining these specifications.
