About this file

This document is an amendment to a solicitation for the replacement of the HVAC system at the Minuteman Missile Delta Launch Facility. The amendment extends the bid due date from August 3, 2021 to August 12, 2021. It clarifies that the period of performance may extend into or begin in the spring of 2022 depending on material and equipment lead times. The amendment also states that the current HVAC systems will remain in use until the new equipment is received and installation can begin. It indicates that the contractor will be responsible for supplying temporary heat if the HVAC system is shut down during cold periods and may use the park's electrical utilities for this purpose. Additionally, the requirement to complete a bid schedule as part of the response has been removed. The solicitation is being conducted by the National Park Service Midwest Region for the Department of the Interior.
