INSTRUCTIONS AND PURPOSE:
The Quoter is to submit a written Technical Approach as part of its quotation package. The Technical Approach will be evaluated by the Government to assess the Quoter’s technical understanding of the work to be performed, the general and local conditions which exist at the contract site(s), and the method, means, resources to be used, and the timeline, in the performance of the contract. Your written Technical Approach is limited to a maximum of three (3) 8 ½” x 11” single-sided pages.
1. Labor resources for performing the work to include size of crew, and positions in which they will be performing. When indicating positions, utilize the Occupation Titles identified in the Wage Determination, Attachment 3. Not all positions on the Wage Determination will be used.
2. All equipment, to include hand equipment, to be used in performance of the work. Quantify where feasible.
3. Your strategy in carrying out the work.
4. Anticipated vehicles to be used in performance (if applicable).
5. Explain how you will make access to the site(s).
6. Where and how you will stage equipment.
7. The estimated number of calendar days to complete each of the priority/unit locations and pre-cut lumber removal.
8. For removal of the lumber, explain how and where lumber will be disposed.
9. Identify risks, obstacles or concerns you may have or expect to encounter in performing the work (if applicable) and how will you mitigate those risks or overcome the obstacles or concerns.
10. Any additional factors you wish to address.
