About this file

This is an addendum to bidding documents for the National Park Service covering amendments to project specifications and drawings. The addendum pertains to the Ste. Genevieve National Historical Park Green Tree Tavern Retaining Wall Rehabilitation project (PMIS No. 351091), issued on 8 July 2026 by NPS Interior Regions 3, 4, and 5 at 601 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, Nebraska 68102.

The amendments modify Section 1.2 (Reconstruction) of Part 1 (General) by removing an original specification that required 100-percent reuse of existing stones with no new stones necessary. In its place, the addendum adds two revised notes clarifying that while 100-percent reuse of existing stones remains the expectation, the contractor may replace up to 15 percent of stones if existing stones are unusable, subject to Contracting Officer/Contracting Officer's Representative (CO/COR) approval. Additionally, the addendum specifies excavation requirements: the contractor shall over-excavate a minimum of 6 inches to a maximum of 8 inches, place non-woven geotextile fabric on hand-tamped soil, and place a minimum 6-inch layer of 1-inch-minus limestone with fines to serve as the wall bearing. All excavated soil material must be transported to a designated site within the park upon COR approval.
