About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a Request for Quote (RFQ) #140P5425Q0020 for removing trash, debris, cabinets, furniture, and appliances from Quarters 1716 at Dry Tortugas National Park. The Q&A provides critical details for potential contractors, including specific requirements for debris removal, equipment usage, and site logistics. Key information includes:

Contractors will remove debris from a specific residential location, using an electric cart or skid steer with weight limitations (7 tons on the main bridge). The park will provide a forklift, but the operator's availability may be limited. Additional logistical details cover docking locations, hauling routes (brick pathway and concrete surfaces permitted), and equipment restrictions. The park offers limited housing at $45 per person per night (6-8 shared beds) and suggests contacting specific park personnel for additional information about transportation (ship schedule, seaplane, supply vessel) and waste management requirements.
