About this file
This document is a Question and Answer (Q&A) attachment to Solicitation 140P5424Q0011 for the replacement of gasoline and diesel fuel systems at the Pine Island facility. The key details are:
The solicitation requires the supply and installation of one 4,000-gallon gasoline fuel tank, one 4,000-gallon split gasoline and diesel fuel tank, and four Gas Boy dispensers (two per tank). The contractor shall also provide two sets of galvanized steel stairs with handrails. The existing concrete support slab may need to be extended to accommodate the tank size. If the existing slab is not large enough, the contractor must provide a plan to augment the slab as required. Fuel tanks can be demolished on-site, but the contractor must follow all environmental and safety regulations for proper disposal. Temporary double-walled 2,000-gallon fuel tanks may be used during construction to maintain operations. The contractor must complete an updated pricing schedule as part of their offer.
