About this file
This document is a Price and Payment section (Section 01270) for a sewer system improvements project for the National Park Service. The contract details a comprehensive set of payment terms for various infrastructure components, including 4" and 6" PVC and HDPE pipes, sanitary sewer manholes, septic tanks, dosing tanks, access hatches, concrete lids, meter box lids, chain link fencing, gates, and restoration/hydroseeding work. Payment will be made on a lump sum basis with partial payments based on actual quantities installed, measured horizontally for linear items and per unit for discrete components like manholes and tanks. The measurement and payment terms specify that the contractor's compensation includes all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and associated appurtenances required to complete each specific task, with the understanding that estimated quantities are approximate and the contractor cannot claim damages for differences between estimated and actual work performed.
