MOCR – INSTALL RAISED CROSSWALK

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1.

Are truncated domes or any type of landing strips required on either side of new walkway? Neither truncated domes nor any other type of landing strips are required.

2. Will NPS remove the vertical control marker and reinstall or will that be the responsibility of the contractor? The vertical marker will not be removed. It should not get in the way of the concrete landing pad, and if it does, the pad will be poured around the marker, leaving the marker as it is. If required, NPS will make any final adjustments to the marker after the pad has been poured.
