Solicitation number
140P5125R0010
Issued by
Department of the Interior National Park Service Southeast Region

About this file

This document is a comprehensive specification for an Aluminum Entry Gate System for Guilford Courthouse National Military Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. The gate system specifications require a modular double swing gate with specific materials and design characteristics, including 5-rail Ameristar Estate Majestic style gates, 24-foot opening, 4-foot height, and constructed from aluminum (6063-T-6) with a black polyester powder coat finish. The gate system must include specialized hardware such as a HGBD Strong Arm Commercial Hinge kit with a 180-degree adjustable hinge and a 24V electromagnetic gate lock with 1,200-lb holding force and IP67 waterproof rating.

The associated federal contract opportunity (Solicitation Number: 140P5125R0010) is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the National Park Service for equipment replacement, specifically tour road gates. The procurement is categorized under NAICS code 332323 with a small business size of 500 employees, and will be awarded using a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedure. The estimated performance period is 180 days, and a site visit is highly recommended for prospective offerors. Contractors must be registered in SAM.gov and self-certified under the specified NAICS code. The government anticipates awarding a single Firm-Fixed Price Contract to the most advantageous responsible respondent.
