About this file
This is Amendment 0001 to Request for Quote (RFQ) 140P4326R0029 for rehabilitation of historic fields at Minute Man National Historical Park. The amendment provides responses to 28 questions received during solicitation and summarizes items discussed during site visits, along with a list of site visit attendees.
The contract scope involves landscape rehabilitation work at multiple areas within the park, including vegetation removal, tree felling with stump grinding, meadow establishment and restoration, fence removal, and removal of earth material piles. Key specifications clarify that boom mowing is only required where specifically identified; vegetation must be cut within 12 inches of historic stone walls without displacing stones; herbicide use is not included (National Park Service Biological Science Technicians will handle herbicide applications); and contractors may reopen former access routes to work around the leach field. Critical requirements include: minimizing soil disturbance by grinding stumps to grade rather than grubbing shrubs (due to the site's status as a historical battlefield); removing fallen trees and debris from meadow areas; and managing materials of unknown origin with contamination protocols requiring immediate notification of the Contracting Officer if suspected contaminants are discovered. The base period runs from 08/22/2026 to 09/30/2027, with Option A (compressed 5-month timeline for pool removal and field work, 08/22/2026–01/31/2027) and Option B (Airport Road parcels) available. Proposals are due August 11, 2026, and must be submitted via email to Jason_Albright@ios.doi.gov with no page limits or formatting requirements. Insurance requirements include liability coverage of $100,000 per person, $500,000 per occurrence, and $1,000,000 property damage. FAR 52.219-14 (50% subcontracting limitation for similarly-situated entities) and DIAR clause 1452.228-70 are incorporated. The solicitation is administered by the National Park Service, Northeast Regional Office, Boston National Historical Park.

09/30/2027
Request for Quote Number 140P4326R0029 Rehab Historic Fields at Minute Man National Historical Park Amendment 0001
DESCRIPTION OF AMENDMENT/MODIFICATION
The following are a list of questions received for the Solicitation Number 140P4326R0029, Rehab Historic Fields at Minute Man National Historical Park.
1) Boom Mowing Requirements
Specification Reference: Landscape Maintenance / Field Maintenance (as applicable)
Question: Please clarify the requirements for boom mowing. Is boom mowing required for all project fields, or is it only required in locations where it is specifically identified in the contract documents or specifications?
Answer: Boom mowing is only required in locations where it is specifically identified in the contract documents or specifications.
2) Historic Wall Clearing Limits
Specification Reference: Historic Stone Wall Maintenance (as applicable)
Question: Please clarify the required clearing limits adjacent to historic stone walls.
Specifically, what horizontal distance from the face or edge of the wall is required to be cleared and maintained?
Answer: Vegetation should be cut within 12 inches of the sides (faces) and top (crest) of the stone walls. Vegetation, stumps, and roots should not be pulled in a manner that displaces stones in the walls. Movement of stones from the walls would be deemed damage. Any stones displaced by the Contractor shall be reset at no additional const to the Government.
3) Herbicide Use
Specification Reference: Vegetation Management / Environmental Requirements (as applicable)
Question: Are herbicides permitted for weed control under this contract? If so, please identify any approved products, application restrictions, environmental requirements, or required approvals that must be followed prior to application?
Answer: Herbicide use is not included in the contract. A team of National Park Service Biological Science Technicians are also working on the historic field rehabilitation project and will be carrying out foliar treatments, cut and dab, and cut stump treatments.
4) Access Path at Leach Field
Specification Reference: Leach Field Maintenance Area (as applicable)
Question: To safely and efficiently perform the required work around the leach field, may the contractor clear or cut a temporary access path through vegetation?
If permitted, please provide any limitations on the width of the path, acceptable clearing methods, and restoration requirements upon completion?
Answer: Yes, to clarify work around the leach field, the contract files include an “As Built – Replace Septic System, Burke House, Concord, 1995.” The site map shows the location of the leach field, pipe from the Burke House, and the former access route to the west of the pipe line. The Contractor may reopen the access route to access the leach field area. Note that the route is currently blocked by fallen trees.
5) Area 1 Shrub Removal Clarification
Specification Reference: Area 1 Vegetation Removal (as applicable)
Question: Please clarify the scope of shrub removal within Area 1. Are contractors to remove only the individual shrubs that have been tagged or otherwise specifically identified, or is the intent to remove entire shrub clusters within the designated work area? If only tagged shrubs are to be removed, please confirm how the shrubs will be identified in the field?
Answer: The list of 45 shrubs to be removed is on the map for Area 1, Task 1a. In the field, representative red flagging is placed on the shrub clusters. For example, 1 forsythia is tagged, but 16 forsythia are to be removed. When complete, all shrubs next to the back of the house and deck, plus all non-native shrubs in the back yard will be removed. With the exception of the spruce (tagged), all trees and shrubs in the front and side yards of the house will remain.
6) Option A Permit & Schedule: The Option A period ends January 31, 2027 (5 months vs. 13 months for base). What permits are required for pool removal/fill work, who is responsible for obtaining them, and is permit acquisition time included in the 5-month performance window or does the period begin after permit approval?
Answer: A demolition permit is required from the Town of Concord and shall be obtained by the Contractor with payment of associated fees. The Town is aware of the project importance. The five-month performance window will commence once the permit is obtained. The intent is to prioritize the removal of the pool, utility lines from the house, and re-establishment of the historic field. The Town Building Inspector will inspect the site, as well as the Electrical and Plumbing/Gas Inspectors.
Upon completion of the removal and filling of the pool site, the Contractor shall close the permit and provide a copy to the Park.
Due to the presence of an adjacent wetland, the Park filed for a Determination of Applicability regarding the Wetland Protection Act. The project received a “Negative Determination” meaning that the project does not require a Notice of Intent under the Wetland Protection Act. However, prior to the commencement of work, the Park will hold a pre-construction site visit with Town of Concord Department of Natural Resources staff and the Contractor to review the proposed work. Once the project is completed, the Park will submit a letter to the Natural Resources Commission stating that the work has been completed in accordance with the Determination and note any changes. The park will provide all documentation to the Contractor for their records.
7) Winter Work Feasibility: Given the compressed Option A timeline (Aug 2026–Jan
2027) and typical New England winters, are there specific weather-related performance exceptions or schedule relief provisions for tasks involving earthwork, seeding, or concrete/asphalt removal during frozen ground conditions?
Answer: An inground pool can generally be removed in the fall. Table 2 provides a framework for scheduling work. Given the compressed schedule for this portion of the contract, the Contractor and CO will communicate regarding favorable conditions for field work for Option A. If conditions are unfavorable, the period of performance will be extended as deemed necessary.
8) Wetland Delineation Report Application: The Wetland Delineation Report identifies resource areas and buffers. Are the field rehabilitation areas (e.g., Barrett Farm, Meriam's Corner) confirmed to be outside wetland jurisdictional boundaries, or will work require Conservation Commission filings (NOI/RDA) under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act?
Answer: At the Barrett Farm, due to the presence of an adjacent wetland, the Park filed for a Determination of Applicability regarding the Wetland Protection Act.
Other work areas that are adjacent to wetlands and include ground disturbance, including: vegetation treatment at Inferrera parcel in Area 4, Task 4d; vegetation treatment at Beatteay parcel in Area 5, Task5a; and removal of the dirt pile in Area 6, Task 6a, the contractor will install silt socks and work in the areas when conditions are favorable and not in the . In all three locations, the intent is to removed deposited soil, rubble, stone, and trash, while limiting ground disturbance and avoiding historic features and stone walls. Work in these areas is disallowed during specific months as indicated in Table 2.
9) Seed Mix Specifications: The SOW references native seed mixes. Are the attached seed mix specifications mandatory (brand/source-specific), or may offerors propose approved equals meeting the same germination/purity standards?
Answer: The seed mix specifications are not mandatory. Offerors may propose equals meeting the same germination/purity standards.
10) Site Access & Staging: Are there designated staging areas for equipment/materials at each site (Barrett Farm, North Bridge, etc.), or must the contractor coordinate staging locations with the park? Are there visitor access restrictions or "quiet hours" during the Revolutionary War anniversary season (April 2027)?
Answer: Each work site includes an access route and staging area(s) for work.
As described in the Contract, Section 7.4, the park hosts commemorative events in April. Commemorative events are on weekends, plus Monday, April 19, 2027.
11) Aggregate vs. Line-Item Award: Will award be made on an aggregate basis (total evaluated price across all CLINs), or does the Government reserve the right to evaluate line items individually and make partial awards?
Answer: Total evaluated price will be determined by adding all options (Base + Options). Evaluation of option pricing does not obligate the Government to exercise any option line items.
12) Option Exercise Timing: The solicitation states "Anticipated Exercise Date
08/22/2026" for Options A and B, which is 11 days *before* the proposal due date (Aug 11). Should this read "Anticipated Exercise Date *after* award" or is there an error in the stated dates?
Answer: There is no error in the dates. Proposals are due no later than August 11, 2026, which is 11 days before the anticipated award/exercise date of August 22, 2026.
13) Page Limits & Format: The solicitation does not specify page limits or formatting requirements for the technical proposal (narrative, past performance examples, project experience). Please confirm maximum page count and any font/margin requirements.
Answer: There are no page limits or formatting (font/margin) requirements.
Proposals shall be organized in accordance with the stated evaluation factors.
14) Subcontracting Limitations (FAR 52.219-14): Can you confirm that work performed by similarly-situated small business subcontractors (qualified under NAICS 561730) counts toward the prime contractor's own performance under the 50% limitation on subcontracting for service contracts?
Answer: FAR Clause 52.219-14 is hereby incorporated in the solicitation and any resultant contract. As stated in this clause, “By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Contractor agrees that in performance of a contract assigned a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for Services (except construction), it will not pay more than 50 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance to subcontractors that are not similarly situated entities. Any work that a similarly situated entity further subcontracts will count towards the prime contractor's 50 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded.”
15) Required Licenses (Evaluation Factor 1 & 2): The Technical Approach and Project
Experience factors reference "required licenses to operate equipment specific to landscape rehabilitation requirements." Please specify which licenses/certifications are mandatory (e.g., pesticide applicator, arborist, equipment operator certifications) vs. evaluated favorably.
Answer: See Contract Section 2.9 for required licenses. All that applicable to proposed methods described in technical approach shall be included in offerors bid submittal. The pesticide application section was removed from the contract scope, so a pesticide applicators license is not needed.
16) Bonding & Insurance: The solicitation does not reference performance/payment bond requirements or specific insurance coverage limits. Please confirm whether bonding is required and provide minimum insurance requirements (general liability, workers' comp, etc.).
Answer: Bid, Performance, and Payment Bonds are not required. Department of the Interior Acquisition Regulation (DIAR) clause 1452.228-70 Liability Insurance is hereby incorporated into this solicitation and any resultant contract, as follows:
1452.228-70 LIABILITY INSURANCE. (JUL 1996)
(a) The Contractor shall procure and maintain during the term of this contract and any extension thereof liability insurance in form satisfactory to the Contracting Officer by an insurance company which is acceptable to the Contracting Officer.
The named insured parties under the policy shall be the Contractor and the United States of America. The amounts of the insurance shall be not less than as follows:
$100,000 each person* $500,000 each occurrence* $1,000,000 property damage*
17) Submission Method: Should proposals be submitted via email to
Jason_Albright@ios.doi.gov, or is there a different electronic portal or physical delivery requirement?
Answer: All proposals shall be submitted via email to to Jason_Albright@ios.doi.gov.
18) Mandatory Site Visit Confirmation: The solicitation lists a site visit on July 20, 2026
(8:00 AM–12:00 PM, Barrett Farm House). Is attendance mandatory for proposal submission eligibility, and will a sign-in sheet or attendance certificate be provided?
Answer: As stated in the solicitation, offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed. However, attendance to the organized site visit is not mandatory. A list of attendees is provided as part of this amendment.
19) The Statement of Work states in Division E task headers that "pesticide use not included in this contract," yet Sections 11.E.10 (Meadow Repair) and 11.E.12 separately require herbicide application to poison ivy masses, including certified-applicator and PUPS reporting requirements. Please confirm whether herbicide/pesticide application is in scope for this contract, and if so, whether the applicator license must be held by the prime or may be satisfied through a subcontractor?
Answer: Pesticide use has been removed from the contract. The herbicide applications will be carried out by the National Park Service Biological Science Technicians working alongside the Contractor.
20) Division F (Fence Removal) itemizes 850 linear feet of fence removal at Area 4, but the Section 3.0 Project Summary Table totals approximately 1,700 linear feet of fence removal across the contract. Please confirm the correct total fence-removal quantity, or identify the additional fence location(s) not captured in the Division F narrative.
Answer: Fence removal is required at two locations and will be removed by the Park in a third location. The Contract includes fence removal at Area 4, Task 4a:
850 linear feet of woven wire fence, and Option A: removal of 300 linear feet of decorative wood and chain link fence after pool removal.
The Park will remove a high tensile wire fence in Area 5, Task 5c, in advance of Contract work in this area.
21) The Division E task-by-task acreage figures for meadow establishment sum to approximately 4.9 acres, while the Section 3.0 Project Summary Table states approximately 3 acres for the same division. Please confirm the correct total meadow-establishment acreage.
Answer: Meadow establishment is required in six locations One of the six locations is overseeding bare areas (Area 5a). The Contract includes meadow establishment in six task areas: 4d (0.3 ac); 5a (2.0 ac overseed); 5c (1.0 ac); 6a (0.5 ac); 7a (0.1 ac);
Option B (1.0 ac). The total acreage is 3.9 for meadow establishment plus overseeding bare areas within an existing 2-acre meadow.
22) Section 11.A describes the Barrett Farm pool (Option A) with inconsistent details in different parts of the document, including differing construction-era references and differing volume/depth figures. Please confirm the pool’s current dimensions, approximate volume, and construction date so the demolition and disposal scope can be estimated accurately.
Answer: The pool dimensions and specifications come from the “As Built” drawings filed with the Town of Concord for a “gunite” pool in 1980 (on parcel 1986-3). The pool wall to wall dimensions are 20 x 40 ft. The steps at the east end of the pool extend another four feet. The pool depth includes a shallow end with 3 to 4 ft depth, and a deep end with depth of approx. 11 ft. This concrete deck around the pool was subsequently removed. A separate deck for basketball was constructed west of the pool (dimensions 20 x 40 ft concrete pad).
23) Several tasks (including 3b, 3c, 4b, 4c, 4d, 5b, 5c, and 5d) specify only an acreage to be cleared rather than a tree or shrub count. Will actual tree/shrub counts in these areas be confirmed at the July 20, 2026 site visit, or is a government estimate available in advance of that date?
Answer: Each area includes specifications for acreage, linear feet, and/or specific tree numbers. In addition to tables, review Map Legends and task descriptions for each area. Also review Q & A as some conditions were updated based on observations in the field.
24) FAR 52.219-14, Limitations on Subcontracting, is not listed among the clauses incorporated by reference in the SF-1449, yet Attachment 4 to the solicitation is a "Limitations on Subcontracting Report Template," which is the standard post-award reporting form associated with that clause. Please confirm whether FAR 52.219-14 applies to this contract and, if so, the required self-performance percentage.
25) Neither the SF-1449 nor the Statement of Work states specific insurance coverage types or minimum dollar limits, although a certificate of insurance is listed as a required submittal. Please confirm the required coverage types (general liability, workers’ compensation, auto, etc.) and minimum limits.
Answer: Department of the Interior Acquisition Regulation (DIAR) clause 1452.228-70 Liability Insurance is hereby incorporated into this solicitation and any resultant contract, as follows:
1452.228-70 LIABILITY INSURANCE. (JUL 1996)
(a) The Contractor shall procure and maintain during the term of this contract and any extension thereof liability insurance in form satisfactory to the Contracting Officer by an insurance company which is acceptable to the Contracting Officer.
The named insured parties under the policy shall be the Contractor and the United States of America. The amounts of the insurance shall be not less than as follows:
$100,000 each person* $500,000 each occurrence* $1,000,000 property damage*
26) CLINs 00090 (Option A) and 00100 (Option B) both show an anticipated exercise date of 08/22/2026, the same as the base period start date. Please confirm whether the Government intends to exercise these options at or near award, or whether exercise may occur later in the period of performance.
Answer: The government intends these options at or near award, if at all.
27) The point of contact for solicitation questions is identified as Jason Albright, with the email address rendered inconsistently across the document (with and without an underscore). Separately, the Statement of Work identifies the Contracting Officer’s Representative under two different names in different sections. Please confirm the exact CO email address for quote submission and the correct COR name and contact information.
Answer: Contracting Officer’s email address for submission of proposals is Jason_Albright@ios.doi.gov. COR name and contact information will be provided by the Contracting Officer after award. All correspondence prior to award shall be submitted directly to the Contracting Officer.
28) 10. The solicitation does not state a page limit, number of proposal volumes, or number of copies required for submission. Please confirm the expected proposal format and any page or volume limits.
Answer: There are no page limits or formatting (font/margin) requirements.
Proposals shall be organized in accordance with the stated evaluation factors

PROJECT-WIDE QUESTIONS
- Clariy methods or vine removal: For all vine removal work in this contract, vines are to be removed from trees from ground level to a height of 12 feet. (Vines can be left in trees and tree canopy above 12 feet.) Where indicated that native shrubs will be preserved, vines should be removed from the tops of the shrub masses and around the sides to preserve as many native shrubs as possible.
- Clariy the green ovals on the Area maps: The green ovals represent work to be carried out by the Park’s Biological Science Technicians and the work described in the green ovals is not part of the contract work.
- Can the shrubs to be removed be grubbed--removed with a backhoe or other digging or pulling tool? No, this is a historical battlefield, soil disturbance is to be minimized by grinding stumps to grade. See diagram and specification in contract and below.
SPECIFIC QUESTIONS AT TASK AREAS
Area 1b – Barn Foundation
- At the Barrett Farm Barn Foundation, are all trees in the oundation to be removed? No—some trees remain. Only trees marked with paint and ribbon are removals (flush cut at base). The exact tree count is 16 trees, and the dbh range is 6 to 16 inch dbh.
Area 2a – Sargent Field
- Where are the nine trees to be flush cut within the polygon shown on the map?
All of the trees are along the north boundary of the field in an area known as Sargent Field. Since some trees already collapsed, the 9 trees flagged for removal with orange tape and orange paint are along the northern stone wall. All are black locust and all can be accessed from the NPS-owned Sargent field property south of the trees.
Area 3b – Meriam’s Corner and Septic System Area
- Where is the septic system and leach field that is within work area 3b? The as-built and access route for the leach field is included (see Figure below). The leach field is not mowed. The line is marked with green flagging and access route for small machinery is marked to the west of the line. Note that the access route is currently blocked by two large fallen trees that need to be removed, and about 20 dead standing trees need to be felled in this area. Adding gravel to improve the access path is allowable. Address work when ground is dry. Note that machinery can not cross the leach field area itself or the pipe line to the leach field. Also note a historical foundation and stone wall to the east of the leach field should not be disturbed. Trees that are felled should not land on leach field, pipe line, foundation, sidewalk, roadway or power line. Felled/cut tree sections can be laid on the forest floor to the west of the leach field, but should not stacked.
Figure above: Meriam Corner – Burke House Septic System in Area 3, Tasks 3a and 3b.
Green indicates pipe line from pump to leach field. Red indicates access route (currently blocked by fallen trees).
Area 4a – Abandoned Livestock Grazing Area
- Should the two dead white pines be elled that are within the work area or the ence removal? Yes, the two large white pine that pose a risk to the field crew should be felled away from the Battle Road Trail and can be left in place in the fence project area to ensure project team safety while removing the fence. Note that the trees are in a wetland and at a distance from the trail, so felled trees may be left in place.
Area 4b – Meadow Restoration Area East of Manuel Drive
- Should all elled trees within the meadow project area be removed? Yes, the fallen trees in the “meadow restoration area” (meadow area marked with stakes and pink flagging) should be removed or chipped on site. Twenty cubic yards of chips may be left on site and piled in one pile at the southwest corner of the meadow area. Additional chips or logs shall be removed and disposed of o site.
- When do the honey bee hives leave the work area? The honey bees are removed from the area in mid to late October and return in May. Hence dead ash felling and vine removal within 200 feet of the hives should be avoided between May and late October.
- Which trees are to be elled in this area? Within the defined “Task 4b area,” all of the dead trees, standing and collapsed are to be addressed and are Ash species. All dead trees felled and collapsed in mowable areas/meadows require associated stump grinding.
Area 4c – Ox Cart Bridge and Path
- Is stump grinding required in this work area? No, stump grinding is not required in in “Task 4c area.”
Area 4d – Chicken Coop Area
- Are the stones in the field near the chicken coop to be removed? Yes, recently about 10 cubic yard of field stone was dumped in this area, and needs to be removed in order to restore the meadow. Existing field stone walls in this area shall not be removed.
- With the tall grasses, it is di icult to see the ground -- how much debris is in this area? This is a former farm and debris ranges from window blinds, telephone pole sections, to rusted tool parts. The volume estimated by the park is 20 cubic yards of twentieth century rubbish. The objective is to level and seed the area for mowing, so the focus is on surface trash that would impede mowing. Subsurface trash that will not impede meadow establishment shall remain.
Area 5a – Beatteay Parcel
- Should the mounds o soil be smoothed out? Yes, the park dropped about 20 cubic yards of topsoil to aid in smoothing the rocky sloped areas for mowing. The topsoil can be spread over exposed stones, with the exception of two historic building foundations.
- Should stones be moved that are mowing obstructions? Yes, surface stones that are above the ground should be moved from mowable areas, with the exception of two historic building foundations, which will be marked with stakes. The surface stones are to be moved to a centralized stone pile in the deep shade, within Task Area 5a, at a site designated by the COR.
- Should large boulders be let in place? Yes, mostly submerged large boulders are left in place and where feasible, topsoil is added around the stone to facilitate mowing.
Area 5c – Pasture Corner near Neighbor’s Property Line
- Is removal o the dead standing elm and ash included? Yes, the dead standing elm is to be felled and removed for crew safety. Also, two dead standing ash should be felled and removed for crew safety and to facilitate meadow establishment.
Stump grinding is not needed in this area.
- Is removal o the cherry trees included? No, the cherry trees and other native live trees remain. The focus is on removing or mulching the brush piles, shrubs, and vines so that the area can be seeded as a meadow.
- Where is the property line: The property line is reflected in the polygon on the map for Area 5, Task 5c, which spans one acre. In the field, the property line is marked with survey pins, stakes, and orange flagging. The neighbor is aware of the project.
Work inside this area shall remove from the site and the Park existing dead standing and collapsed trees (for crew safety), brush piles, man made or of natural cause, living and dead shrubs to a height of 12 feet, the cutting of all vines to a height of 12 feet from the ground.
Area 5d – Current Livestock Pasture Area
- Is removal o dead standing ash included? Yes, remove dead standing ash, chip, or remove logs. Yes, grind stumps to grade to facilitate mowing. See stump grinding specification above.
Area 6a –Dirt Pile
- The volume stated in the contract is “approximately 200 cubic yards.” Provide a more accurate calculation o the volume o dirt in the pile and the method used to calculate the volume. With lidar, pile volume is 550 cu yards. Calculating the pile volume as a pyramid, pile volume is 600 cu yards. Volume provided by government is estimated – contractor to verify for bidding purposes.
- Has the soil been tested or contaminants? No, if contaminants are found, the Contract O icer will be notified. See added language at the end of the Q & A.
- What is the source o this pile? i.e. where did it originate rom? The pile originated from the construction of the Battle Road Trail. Subsequently there has been additional dumping, hence the park would like to eliminate the pile.
- I contaminants are ound during the contract, what steps will be taken?
Discovery of contaminants will result in a contract modification. Discovery of suspected contaminated materials constitutes a potential di ering site condition.
Upon notification, the Contracting O icer may direct the Contractor to participate in a site meeting to evaluate the condition and determine the appropriate response.
Any work associated with more in depth investigation, characterization, handling, transportation, treatment, or disposal of contaminated materials that is outside the scope of this contract shall not proceed until authorized in writing by the Contracting O icer through a contract modification or other contractual direction, as appropriate. Further details are added below.
Area 6b –Elm Brook Hill
- Clariy quantity o trees in this area. Update quantity of dead white pine from two to two standing and one collapsed pine and update stump grinding count from five to six stumps for this area. All are marked with orange flagging.
Area 6c –Jozwicki Field
- Can the chips rom this work area be dispersed along the south tree line o the field? No, the sawlogs and/or wood chips generated within area 6c should be removed.
Area 7a –Folly Pond Area
The volume stated in the contract is approximately 50 cubic yards. Provide a more accurate calculation o the volume o dirt in the pile and the method used to calculate the volume. With lidar, pile volume is 300 cu yards. Calculating the pile volume as a pyramid, pile volume is 280 cu yards. Volume provided by government is estimated – contractor to verify for bidding purposes.
