About this file

This file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document from Amendment 2 to solicitation 140P4226Q0003 for potable and non-potable water testing services at Shenandoah National Park in Luray, Virginia. The document does not address specific products or services required, pricing terms, response dates, or award information. Instead, it contains clarification on a single procedural matter regarding sample pickup scheduling.

The Q&A clarifies that the Monday through Thursday timeframe mentioned in the solicitation documentation refers only to the window within which pickups may occur during each week, not a requirement for pickups every day. The government confirmed that only one pickup per week is required for water and wastewater samples, rather than multiple daily pickups. This amendment was issued by the Department of the Interior National Park Service Northeast Region to provide contractors with additional information needed to prepare their proposals.

140P4226Q0003 Amendment 2 Shenandoah National Park (SHEN) Water Testing

Contractor Q & A

1. I noticed in the documentation that pickups would be required Monday through Thursday. Could you kindly clarify whether pickups are required every Monday through Thursday, or if they are only within this timeframe but not necessarily every day?

Additionally, if pickups are not required every day, do you have an estimate of the number of daily pickups that would be needed on average per year?

The Monday through Thursday was just a timeframe for each week. We will require once a week pickup for our water and wastewater samples.
