140P4222Q0081 – Alarm Monitoring at George Washington Birthplace National Monument and Thomas Stone National Historic Site

Q&A

Questions:

Please provide device counts for the fire alarm/intrusion systems.

Please provide the most recent inspection report if available, for both systems.

Please provide system drawings for the fire alarm/intrusion alarm, for all locations.

Answers:

The fire inspections for both parks are attached (see attachments 1 and 2). I was not able to locate any drawings/plans for the systems from the previous contractor. I did include a list of all locations at both parks (GEWA & THST) which lists all sensors/zones (see attachment 4).

We just had our alarm systems upgraded in 2019. I attached information regarding those upgrades. I included photos of the sensors and panels installed throughout the park (see attachment 4).

We have 11 separate fire and intrusion alarm systems, with 13 panels.

Ten panels have outdated cellular communicators and need to be upgraded. I attached the model number of the seven cellular communicators, new in the box, that we have in the park that hopefully can be used.

One fire and intrusion panel (at THST) will need to be upgraded to the Vista 128. Photos of the current panel are also included (see attachment 3).
