Q12.The electrical conduit route indicated on the drawings, to provide power from the first-floor panel CH to the attic mechanical equipment, does not allow proper conduit attachment per NEC code. Please confirm that this is the only acceptable route, best effort of compliance is acceptable by the NPS. The method of exiting the conduit out of this pathway may require expansion of existing openings which could affect the finish of the chimney stack and the treatment of such openings needs to be reviewed, detailed and agreed to for bidding purposes. Please clarify. Please clarify where this can be found on the drawings and what prohibits proper conduit attachment. If this is in reference to using the chimney as a chase and exceeding the spacing between fasteners due to only accessing at each chimney opening then, yes, best effort of compliance will be acceptable.

Q13. We would like to request that a quantity for stucco be established for the basis of bid. We are being told by a few different subcontractors that have visited the site that it will be very difficult to accurately quote this scope should a quantity not be established.
