About this file
This document summarizes a pre-proposal conference for a federal construction contract solicitation. The solicitation is for trail construction work at Cape Hatteras National Seashore in North Carolina. Proposals are due by August 21, 2023 and must be submitted electronically to the National Park Service contracting staff. The conference included an overview of the solicitation and project details, as well as a review of construction plans. The award will be made using best value tradeoff procedures, with technical factors being more important than price. Offerors were advised to carefully review the solicitation instructions and evaluation criteria when preparing their proposals.
