About this file

This is Amendment 001 to Solicitation 140P1526Q0115 issued by the National Park Service Contracting Operations - Central for the replacement of propane tanks and a generator at Petrified Forest National Park (PEFO). The amendment provides clarifications to contractor inquiries through a questions and answers format addressing project specifications and requirements.

Key project details clarify that all propane tanks are above ground and do not require foundation replacement unless necessary for new installation. Contractors should not include tank filling costs in their quotes; however, they must remove existing propane from current tanks and either provide the government with a credit or transfer the propane to new tanks. Photographs of the current setup are provided showing a generator enclosure and multiple above-ground cylindrical propane tanks on concrete pads. The contracting officer is Taylor Jones (taylor_jones@ios.doi.gov, 520-780-9294). No other solicitation clauses or dates are modified by this amendment.
