About this file
This is Amendment 1 to a solicitation for septic tank pumping services issued by the National Park Service. The amendment incorporates questions and answers and extends the proposal due date; all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
Solicitation 140P1526Q0036 establishes a base year plus four option years service agreement for routine and as-needed septic tank pumping services at Flagstaff Area National Monuments, including Sunset Crater National Monument and Wupatki National Monument in Arizona. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, equipment, vehicles, materials, tools, permits, licenses, and incidentals necessary to pump, remove, transport, and properly dispose of septic tank contents from multiple septic tank systems in accordance with solicitation documents. Service frequency is typically twice annually—once in spring and once in fall—subject to change based on park visitation. The contractor must coordinate with park personnel at least 48 hours prior to arrival, Monday through Thursday. NPS employees will provide site guidance, and all access routes are accessible by large trucks. Additional details regarding tank locations, sizes, quantities, and annual service estimates are referenced in the Statement of Work. The Contracting Officer is Jessica Owens (720-450-2184, Jessica_Owens@nps.gov), and the Park Point of Contact/Contracting Officer's Representative is Chris Brothers (928-526-0502, Chris_Brothers@nps.gov).
