About this file
This is Amendment 0002 to Solicitation 140P1526Q0018 for inspection and cleaning services of two water tanks located at National Park Service (NPS) sites in Arizona. The amendment is issued by NPS, IMR - Arizona MABO, with effective date 02/02/2026, and extends the solicitation period. The contracting officer is Taylor A. Jones (Taylor_A_Jones@nps.gov) and the contracting specialist is Dennis Zoltak (dennis_zoltak@nps.gov). The period of performance runs from 02/27/2026 to 04/17/2026.
The amendment includes a Questions and Answers section that clarifies key project requirements. Two water tanks require inspection and cleaning: the Montezuma Castle tank (30-foot diameter, steel welded, partially below grade, 10 feet tall with exterior stairway, 24"x24" roof hatch) and the Tuzigoot tank (22' x 44', concrete, below ground, 34"x34" roof hatch). The Montezuma Castle tank has a cathodic protection system requiring inspection. The tanks will remain full during inspection and cleaning operations. All wastewater and solids removed from both tanks must be disposed of at the Montezuma Castle National Monument sewage lagoons. No temporary water supply is required. The amendment notes that the Q&A period is now closed. Supporting documents include site photographs, aerial maps, and detailed images of tank locations, access hatches, service roads, and surrounding areas.
