SUCR- Inspect and Clean Potable Water Tank

Questions and Answers listed below:

QUESTIONS:

Question # Question Answer/Response

1. We were in this tank with an ROV about a year ago

December and there was not any sediment seen in the pictures or photographs. Do we have any reason to believe that has changed?

We don't have a reason this may have changed, but it was recommended that we do a follow-up inspection by our last Utility Operator.

2. If the tank is full of water, we will have to empty it, do you want that water disposed of?

If not do you want the water put into holding tanks so the big tank can be cleaned and inspected and put back into the big tank?

The intent of this contract is to not drain the tank for inspection, but to use either divers or robotics to inspect the tanks. If for some reason the tank does need to be drained, then yes, they would like to save the water in a holding tank.

3. On the Inspection Report requirements:

Inspection Reports The contractor shall prepare a binder with O&M manuals, and product information of the new well pump, and associated components.

Is the above a typo left from a previous solicitation? Can we disregard it?

Yes, please disregard. The SOW will be updated with this amendment (01).
