Questions Addressed

Solicitation: 140L622SQ0008 - IRA NLB Materials Purchase

1. On the Specifications file it appears to say that only one payment would be made as one lump sum after everything has been delivered, while in the solicitation form says partial deliveries and payments are acceptable. Given that some equipment has much longer lead times than others, we would like to make sure about this because it will affect financing of the total order.

a) Interim payments can be made as stated in SAM upon delivery of goods.

2. Additionally, please confirm that for the solar pumping systems you are only looking to buy the following equipment: Solar Panels, Racking, and Pump. And no other components or labor?

a) The solar pumping systems include all the items outlined in Section 02828, Materials, Part 2A Materials. No labor.

3. And last but not least, given that there are several different type of material involved in this solicitation it would be good to get at least one more week to properly prepare the proposal, if that is possible.

a) The due date of bids is currently set to January 8th at 2pm mtn and cannot be extended.

4. For the item - 16' long metal pipe gate - what is the required diameter ?

a) See attached drawing.

5. Both the items listed - 2-7/8" dia drill stem steel pipes (30' stick) and 2-3/8" dia drill stem steel pipes (20' stick) comes in 31 ft length. Does the government wants exactly cut into 30' and 20' long sticks?

a) Yes

6. Will the government accept 12' dia x 36" deep rubber tire troughs, instead of 12' dia x 24" deep dimensions?

a) Yes

7. Is there any single line diagram you can provide on how you are planning to install the systems?

a) See attached drawings.

8. Disconnect switch: Confirm if this needs to be DC or AC?

a) DC

9. Controller for backup generator: amps? volts? any additional spec needed?

a) The controller needs to be able to convert power from a 120 or 230 VAC single phase generator capable of running the submersible pump if there is no DC solar power available.

AMD001

In example, for a Grundfos llSQF-2 pump this would be an input of90-240VAC (single phase) and output up to 225 VDC@ 8.4 AMPS (maximum). The Grundfos controller is an 10101. However, the exact sizing will depend on the pump selected.

10. Generator interface: is this for the AC backup generator? what specs should it need to have?

a) Yes, it is for the AC backup generator. See answer to #9 above.
