About this file

This document is a set of site tour notes and questions/answers related to Solicitation 140L5724R0005 for the Otter Creek Culverts Replacement project. The key details are:

The government will provide new concrete bases to replace the existing wood bases at both bridges, which the contractor will install. For the barrow pit material, the contractor can kick aside larger rocks rather than using a Grizzly for screening. The contractor is responsible for survey/layout, dewatering the channel, obtaining required permits (404 stream alteration, UDOT encroachment, SWPPP, dewatering plan), road maintenance, and any needed access improvements to the barrow site. The government will grade the road prior to construction. Rip-rap must be gray or earth-toned, and the contractor has the option to either haul off sagebrush or use it for screening/reclamation. The contractor will also be required to provide signage and road closure per UDOT requirements.

104L5724R0005 Otter Creek Culverts Replacement Site tour / Prebid Conference Notes

Discussion at Pre-Bid Conference

1. Discussion with the group was made about the government providing concrete bases to replace the existing wood bases at both bridges. It was decided that the government would furnish new concrete bases shall be installed by the contractor as shown on drawings.
