ARCHIE CREEK HAZARD TREE REMOVAL Solicitation #140L4322Q0137 Amend. 02 BLM ROSEBURG DISTRICT Page 3 of 3
Price Schedule has been simplified to 1 line item. (See below)
Due date for responses is extended to 09/08/2022 @ 10:00 PDT
Question and answers being provided to better clarify solicitation need.
Q1: I can’t seem to locate in the solicitation where the exact locations are for this work? Could you clarify for me please.
A1: The exact locations could be anywhere in the Archie fire footprint, but the large majority of work will be in and around the Rec site areas up Rock Creek Road.
Q2: Also, do you have an estimated tree removal count?
A2: It is difficult to get a tree count. Our estimate is between 450-650, with the more than half being hardwoods. Much of the material will be decked, but some will be left onsite as downed wood.
Q3: Is there a Govt provided disposal location for all brush, logs and demo debris for this project? Or does everything need to go to a commercial disposal facility?
A3: Undetermined, but a large majority of the material will be staged within the project area. For the purposes of this solicitation, the contractor should be prepared to deck material in a location within the project area, as determined by the COR (with contractor input).
The question period for this solicitation is closed. A site visit is recommended if there are further questions.
