About this file
This is a Vendor Questions and Answers document for a Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Washington broadcast herbicide treatment solicitation.
The solicitation pertains to herbicide treatment services for 1,358 acres. A vendor inquired whether ground-based spraying using backpack sprayers would be acceptable as a treatment method. The BLM responded that any method of broadcast application is acceptable for the treatment area, and contractors have discretion to determine what treatment methods are feasible and reasonable for their operations. This response indicates flexibility in the approach contractors may propose while maintaining the core requirement of broadcast application across the specified acreage.
