SOL 140L3721Q0018: Fire Alarm Monitoring Questions and Answers May 21, 2021
1. 3.2.1 states the contractor shall reprogram the fire panels and dialers as necessary. Will all the passwords and/or passcodes for all the panels be available to the awarded contractor prior to the start of the project?
All Passwords and passcodes will be available to the awarded contractor when requested.
In some instances, passwords and/or passcodes are changed to a company specific password which are not given out to competitors. In these instances, these codes need to be changed back to a default code before any work can take place. In order to make any program changes and to ensure a smooth transition all passwords and/or passcodes need to be available from NIFC prior to the project start date.

1. If so, will programming this panel be outside of the scope of this project?
Programming will remain in the scope of this contract.
2. If not, is the panel password and/or passcode available?
