YELLOW CREEK REMEDIATION

140L3422Q0022

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 7/12/2022

Q1:Will the owner allow all material that passes through a ½ inch screen to be disposed of at an appropriate facility upon results of a RCRA 8 TCLP sample test? Recycling material may not be feasible and cost prohibitive due to the difficulty in separating the lead fragments from similar sized materials.
A.1.It is okay to haul off material through the 1/2" screen, but the material must be recycled. It may not be able to be recycled with extra material in it but perhaps the recycling center the contractor uses will be able to separate it. It is up to the contractor how they want to haul it and to work with the recycle center.
