Text version

Q: Will I have to provide some type of certification to show that I am a woman-owned small business?

A: WOSB status will be checked through SAM.gov

Q: The statement of work says the contractor will transcribe an approximate recording 8 hours of interviews/recordings. Further down the page, the bid estimation sheet states for Task 1 is to setup MOU for the task description 15 hours. But the estimated hours are eight. Task 2 is 7 hrs to transcribe recording states 60 hours as estimated hours. Option Task 3 is to transcribe the remaining 8 hrs needed. Can you clarify?

A: Base Task 1, estimated 8 work hours to set up MOU, prior to sharing the total of 15 audio hours needing transcribed; we set it up for a base 7 audio hours. Base Task 2, 60 estimated work hours. plus the Option Task 3 of the 8 remaining audio hours (80 estimated work hours, funding dependent).

Q: Will the contractor have to translate any of the work as part of the transcription services?

A: No. This project is for transcription services only, translation services are not required.

Q: Do we have to be present in Colorado to transcribe?

A: No need for the Contractor to be located or present in Colorado, sensitive files can be shared by setting up a Teams group or any other secure FTP file sharing site. Also, can ship files via on flash drive but preferred approach is avoid using mail.
