Attachment 3 – Questions and Answers

1. After inputting the latitude and longitude of the project (48.07945, -106.87606), Google

Earth is not leading me to a detention dam. Looking at Google Earth, it looks like a detention dam at 48.044086, -106.908019 is the location that fits the RFQ description.

Response: The Tomahawk Detention Dam is designed so that it does not retain a dead pool;

instead, all water drains completely from the reservoir area. The dam extends from coordinates 48.07945, -106.87606 to 48.075619, -106.883914. The Outlet Works Conduit is at 48.076951°, -106.881315°.

2. If known, when is this project expected to go to bid for contractors and what is the expected start date for construction?

Response: The earliest anticipated start date for construction is summer 2028; however, when work actually begins will ultimately depend on the availability of project funding.

3. Is there any incumbent/recompete or this is a brand-new project? If yes, could you please provide us with their award number or even if the customer bought similar services in the past.

Response: This is a brand-new requirement.
