Solicitation No: 140L0621R0007 – Amendment 0003 Questions & Answers

Questions & Answers

1. We are being told that all products ie. Wire, posts etc are a minimum of 18-20 weeks out. Would this cause an issue? That would put work starting in November more than likely. This would cause issues on the completion date specified. How would we go about rectifying this issue? What are the penalties if the job is not completed in the allotted time frame?

The government confirmed that current materials lead time is 18-20 weeks and as a result 140 additional days have been added to the period of performance to accommodate this increase in lead time. The period of performance is now 260 total calendar days.
