(i) Vegetation Abatement Task Order SOW_#001
(j) Task Order #001_Table 1_List of Stations
Q1 The pricing list is pretty broad. How would you like this priced, as each station will likely have different requirements?
A1 Use information from the scouting task to evaluate work needed and level of difficulty for each site in advance of determining cost. The government will provide a list of sites which should not require scouting and can be priced via desktop survey. Estimate travel, labor and materials using the provided station list for proposal. A mobilization cost can be separately priced per region or location.
Q2 If we fill out the pricing on the pricing sheet, what is the pricing figure on the Eval sheet for?
A2 Please fill out the attached pricing sheet only. You may also include an additional attachment with detailed costs if needed.
Q3 The max price on the actual RFP has an extra digit, and the comma is out of place. Is the max price $2.9 million, or $29 million?
A3 This has been corrected to reflect $2.9 million.
Q4 How large of an area will the ground cover/aggregate need to be? Do you expect the 30 foot radius to be fully filled with gravel? If so, how deep? And if it's a smaller area, do we make the determination while on site?
A4. The gravel area should be a 30 foot radius, 4" deep unless pre agreed upon from scouting report.

Q5 If awarded, will the site visits be given one at a time, as a single location, or in batches within a geographical area?
A5 The sites will be given in regional batches as much as possible to economize effort.
Q6 Will you be awarding multiple contractors? Do we have the ability to bid on certain tasks/areas? Or is it all or nothing?
A6. Multiple regional contractors will be considered in addition to a single award for entire project.
Q7 Is there a preliminary schedule, or requirement for the reconnaissance and evaluation surveys e.g.
a. All sites within the first 60-90 days,
b. All sites within the first year
c. All sites over a 5 year period, equally divided by year
A7. Site scouting and evaluation can be distributed throughout the 5-year period of performance. Some scouting can be accomplished via desktop survey and in consultation with the government.
Q8 We have standard rates (hourly) setup with 50+ land scaping companies in support of this effort, although pricing for each site is subjective without the reconnaissance evaluation. Would the government be willing to accept an hourly rate in the "task2&3" pricing section? if not, please provide guidance with method for pricing.
A8. Yes, an hourly rate for the separate tasks will be accepted. A sample set of stations with varying factors will be provided within this amendment for specific pricing.
Q9 Based on the requirements of each delivery order our reconnaissance and evaluation survey team will be deployed, is there a minimum time frame that the government will require personnel to be on site e.g. Within 24 hours, within 48 hours etc. Or well this be determined at the delivery order level?
A9 No Minimum time on site will be required and will be determined at the task order level.
