About this file
This is a salient characteristics document specifying requirements for 7 spectrophotometer systems and accessories for the U.S. Geological Survey in Troy, NY. The systems must include in-situ spectrophotometers with stainless steel or titanium waterproof housing, capable of measuring water quality parameters in rivers including total organic carbon, dissolved organic carbon, total suspended sediments, turbidity, and nitrate. Each system requires a 5mm optical pathlength, minimum 8GB storage, communication capabilities via SDI-12/RS-485 protocols, and Bluetooth/WLAN connectivity with 15-meter waterproof cables.
The solicitation (140G0125Q0051) is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 334513 with a size standard of 750 employees. Quotes are due February 10, 2025, at 8:00 AM EST, with anticipated award date of February 15, 2025. Questions must be submitted to jwalsh@usgs.gov by February 6, 2025. Delivery is required within 30 days after receipt of order. Each system must also include operating system licenses, power supply modules, automatic wiper brushes, and compatible software. Vendors must be registered in SAM.gov to be considered for award.
