About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding an existing fire suppression system maintenance contract with the Department of the Interior US Geological Survey Office of Acquisitions and Grants. There is one dry system, two FM200 gas systems with tanks of 147 pounds each, and four wet systems on site. Two fire pumps are present, sized at 25HP and 15BHP. Eleven butterfly valves, seven OS&Y valves, and one special valve require tamper devices. Four standpipes are installed, but the document does not provide details on standpipe types or water flows. One dry chem canister reads as low in the chemical storage building, which is the only currently identified deficiency. A general site map was previously provided on SAM.gov.
