Caribou_position_reference_photo_0001.png

This is a reference photograph for a caribou sculpture project. The image depicts a life-like caribou positioned to serve as a reference for the design and fabrication of bronze sculptures required under solicitation 140FS126Q0023. The photograph shows the caribou's anatomical structure, posture, and physical characteristics that the selected sculptor must replicate in the exterior bronze sculpture exhibit planned for the Tok Main Street Interagency Visitor Center in Tok, Alaska.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking a qualified sculptor to design, fabricate, and install a bronze caribou family sculpture group on the Visitor Center lawn at 1314 Alaska Highway. This reference image establishes the visual standard and positioning requirements for at least one member of the family grouping that will comprise the Visitor Interpretive Exhibit Plan. The photograph provides the sculptor with essential dimensional and anatomical reference material to ensure the finished bronze sculptures achieve the required life-like quality and accuracy in representing caribou characteristics.
