About this file
This is a Standard Form 30 Amendment of Solicitation/Modification of Contract for a hazardous fuels reduction project at Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge in Washington state. Amendment 02 extends the bid due date to 1200 Pacific on March 19, 2025, and provides additional details about the solicitation. The requirement involves a chainsaw cut and hand pile and cover project for understory reduction across 614 acres of Rocky Pine area, with a planned period of performance from March 13, 2025 to December 30, 2025.
The solicitation calls for vendors to submit one copy of an itemized price proposal and one technical proposal, which must address specific evaluation factors and include a "Past Experience and Reference Form". Vendors are encouraged to schedule a site visit with the technical point of contact, Oscar Orozco, to understand local conditions affecting contract performance. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract, and all quotes are due by January 21, 2025 at 1200 PST. Supporting documentation including a Performance Work Statement (PWS), maps, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), fire prevention plan, and applicable wage determination are attached to the solicitation.
