Winnie Depot
Questions:
1. Please confirm if there is an existing Schneider Building Control System (BAS) for this Office building/project? Schneider’s local office indicates that there is not.
Note 8 & 14 Page M3.0
USFWS Response - Building originally had a Schneider BAS that is no longer utilized.
Components are still in place and are the items being referenced in the sheet notes.
2. If the existing Schneider control refences components only, please provide the Brand/Manufacturer of the existing Building Automation System or current service provider.
USFWS Response – Currently there is no active BAS front end, the system was taken offline.
3. Please clarify the panel name and location where new panel LP2 will receive power from?
USFWS Response - Panel LP2 will receive power from Panel MP1 as shown on Sheet
ME3.2.
4. Please clarify Note 10 on M3.0 to connect “All New equipment to existing Panel” Where all other references indicate the new equipment to be connected to “New
LP2”
USFWS Response – Connect equipment to panel board as shown on Sheet ME3.2.
5. Who will bear the expense of the “Lead Commissioning Specialist” or Commissioning Agent (CxC)” refenced in Specification SECTION 01 91 00.15 part
1.3. Will that cost be included by the Contractor or provided by the Government?
USFWS Response – Commissioning will be the responsibility of the Contractor.
6. Is there any work on the updated drawings including ME 5.0, ME5.1, ME5.2, or ME5.3 for the maintenance building included in this project?
USFWS Response - The Maintenance Building is not within the scope of this contract. Work is being performed within the office building as shown.
7. Where do we send the bid? Solicitation states that it is to go to the address in box 8 but the box is empty.
