About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a mold remediation project for the San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge (SPBNWR) office located at 2100 Sears Point Road in Sonoma, CA. The project requires a hazardous materials/remediation contractor to remove mold from multiple areas including the kitchen, Office 1, back mudroom, bathroom, and crawlspace, which currently renders the office unsafe for staff due to respiratory health hazards. The scope of work involves moving furniture, removing affected drywall, insulation, flooring, and ceiling, installing dehumidifiers, performing remediation techniques (sanding, HEPA vacuuming, wet wiping, sealing cavities), and conducting a final clearance test. Additionally, four damaged windows that are leaking water into the walls must be removed and replaced.
The project is to be completed from the date of award to no later than December 15, 2025, with work conducted during normal duty hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.). The technical coordinator is Meg Marriott, Wildlife Biologist, with Melisa Amato as the secondary contact. The contracting officer is Cindy Salazar. Contractors must have extensive experience in mold remediation and will be evaluated based on their proposal, with government acceptance contingent upon the Contracting Officer Representative's approval of completed work. The vendor is required to provide an itemized list of parts, repair hours, and warranty information.
