Questions and Answers
RFQ No. 140F0918Q0054
Q1 - Is this contract covered under Executive Order 13706?
A1 – Yes, please refer to the solicitation and Attachment E (Wage Determination). DOL requires that the terms of E.O. 13706 apply.
Q2 - For the base contract, is the government requesting a yearly amount and if so, what is the incremental payment schedule?
A2 – The period of performance for the base period and each option period is 10/15 through 05/15. The Government is requesting an amount to cover services during that period. Payments would be made monthly upon submission of proper invoices.
Q3 - Will the government allow the contractor to pre-stage appropriate de-icing chemicals in designated areas that require service? If so, what duration of time is allowed for the chemicals to be left in those areas?
A3 – All de-icing chemicals will be kept at the Support Services building at NCTC and will not be staged at designated areas requiring services.
Q4 - What is the incumbent's monthly or yearly contracted price?
A4 – This requirement was previously performed as part of a larger Landscape Maintenance and Snow Removal contract (Contract No. F15PC00058). The snow removal portion has been scaled down and the monthly/annual costs for this new requirement cannot be determined.
