There is no incumbent currently performing the work under this contract, and there is no existing contract number associated with this work. The award will be made to the responsible quoter whose quote is determined to be technically acceptable and quoted the lowest price that is deemed fair and reasonable, providing the best value to the Government. The Government will not disclose the budget for this requirement.
The contractor will be provided access to the System Points List and building drawings for Buildings 26492 and 26498, as the contractor may need to replace the conventional fire system with an addressable system and bring it up to current code. There is not an incumbent currently performing the work under this contract.
What is the contract number associated with this work?
There is no contract number associated with this work.
What is the total value of the current contract?
No contract exists.
What is the budget? Award will be made to the responsible quoter whose quote is determined to be technically acceptable and quoted the lowest price that is determined fair and reasonable, providing a best value to the Government.
With the evaluation factors being technically acceptable and lowest price that is determined fair and reasonable, we do not feel like it is appropriate to disclose our budget.
Regarding Bldging ID’s 26492 & 26498 request to replace the conventional Fire System with an Addressable System, in order to design the new system:
• Would we have access to the System Points List and building drawings?
• The System may need to be brought up to current code.
Yes, you will have access to the System Points List and the building drawings.
What is the procedure for replacing obsolete systems with upgraded systems (intrusion and/or fire)?
There is already a contract to address the repair of our systems. Part of that repair is ensuring it is up to code.
Since we were unable to see some of the fire panels because the Ranger did not have keys to those buildings, what is the timeline for us to receive those pictures?
Please Find Attached.
Are permits required for the fire jobs? Permits will be required, and it is the contract’s responsibility to obtain these permits. This will need to go through our Resource Management Division.
Since we were not able to see some of the fire panels, would we be able to get a two-week extension on the proposal due date?
A two-week extension will not fit our timeline, and we can provide a one-week extension until Monday July 29, 2024, at 1:00PM EST.
Permits will be required, and it is the contract’s responsibility to obtain these permits. This will need to go through our Resource Management Division.
